EDAS-Valencia, Intensive ballet workshop

Join us for an exciting new workshop in

beautiful Valencia, Spain !

3 weeks of learning, training, and living as a company, which end in 2 gala performances at a Valencia theater.

We offer you the training and stage experience through study that you will need for auditioning to companies

or academies and especially if you plan to become a professional dancer.

IN THE PROGRAM:

New and classical choreographies, , classic ballet, pointe, men class, pas de deux, classical repertoire, Nacho Duato choreography, Graham Technique, modern dance, musical dance, jazz, pilates and more. (See our Faculty page)

Prof. Fernando Coelho is leading a top professional international faculty, with vast experience and charming personality, who will be with you all the way to help you advance in your dream of becoming a dancer.

SPECIAL FEATURES:

Choreography of Nacho Duato - with Fabrice Edelman, of the National Spanish Ballet, and Nacho Duato company,

PORTFOLIO PHOTOGRAPHING of students who wish to have photos for their auditioning portfolio, and CV writing course.

We also offer some 'Extras' such as pilates, make-up course, lighting, stage orientation, how to prepare for auditions,

personal coaching, sightseeing tour and more...

We give our students the opportunity to perform a solo piece at the gala show!!!

Please bring a ready short choreography, the music and costume. (Subject to auditioning)

A DVD of the workshop and gala shows will be made and be available for the students.

A ballet movie collection is available for free time watching and learning, at the dormitories video room.

Our photographer will be available to create for you professional portfolio photos as a minimal charge,

and Nili Glazer will instruct you how to create your CV / Resume for auditions.
